Gov. Wolf antique show this weekend
The Governor Wolf Historical Society will hold its sixth annual benefit antique show on Saturday and Sunday, March 1 and 2, at its 6600 Jacksonville Road campus.
The show will be held in the society's three historic buildings – the 18th-century Ralston McKeen House, the Governor Wolf Academy and the Monocacy School.
Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
There will be 35 to 40 exhibitors, featuring local primitives, country furniture, early textiles, folk art, early tools, toys, historical china, blue decorated stoneware, jewelry, early kitchen items and lighting, collectibles and more.
On Sunday 1 p.m., Gene Allen will discuss "My Favorite Old Santas." Julian Burley will give a talk 2 p.m. on "Prehistoric Cultures and Stone Tools of Northampton County." At 3 p.m., auctioneer Will Hahn will preview and auction stained glass, a Victorian mirror and more.
There will be ongoing demonstrations and tastings of open hearth cooking and food provided by The Daily Grind of Bath.

East Allen Township is holding spring sports registrations for the following sports: T-ball and baseball (boys and girls) for ages 4 to 11 and pee-wee soccer as well as U-8, U-10 and U-12 (boys and girls) for ages 4 to 12.
