Angelina T. Graner

Angelina T. Graner, 92, formerly of Allentown, died Feb. 19, 2014, in Cedarbrook, Fountain Hill.

She was the wife of the late John T. "Reds" Graner.

Born Nov. 11, 1921, in Stockertown, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Maria (Buttazzi) Zuanet.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, where she was a member of the Women's Guild, volunteered for many years at the annual church festival in the flea market, and was past president of the M&M Senior Group.

A 1939 graduate of Allentown High School, she was a former Girl Scout Leader at Sacred Heart and St. Francis of Assisi parishes, a member of the former Y-wives of the YWCA, a charter member of CCHS Music Parents Association, a 32-year volunteer at Lehigh Valley Hospital and a member of the former Allentown Jets Femme Fans Club.

Her survivors include children John P. Graner of Rexburg, Idaho, Elissa A. Graner of Allentown; sisters Palmira "Pam" Remmel of Center Valley, Ann Schneck and her husband, Dale, of Schnecksville; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Linda M. Kresley, and brothers, Rudolph and Lorenzo Zuanet.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Feb. 27, at St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, 1879 Applewood Drive, Orefield, with the Rev. Msgr. Joseph P.T. Smith as celebrant.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. Thursday in the church.

Interment will follow the Mass at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
