Kathleen Hollopeter, 54, of Emmaus, died Feb. 19, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospice. She was the wife of the late Michael Hollopeter. Born in Abington, she was the daughter of the late Henry F. and Doris Jean Peters. She lived most of her life in Emmaus.

She was a graduate of Central Bucks West High School and worked most of her life in the medical health care profession, including as an EMT for Central Bucks Ambulance, Grand View Hospital in Sellersville and Lehigh Valley Pulmonary Associates.

She was a devoted wife and cherished her pets, Molly and Crosby. She fought a courageous battle with her illness and was an inspiration to all who knew her as she finally found peace.

She is survived by a brother, Charles Peters, of Lansdale.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice, Lehigh Valley Health Care Network, 2166 S. 12th St., Allentown.

A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Feb. 27, at the Reed and Steinbach Funeral Home, 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown. Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
