Salisbury High School will present William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream" 7 p.m. March 7, 2 and 7 p.m. March 8 and 2 p.m. March 9. Tickets can be reserved via email at salisburytheatre@salisburysd.org or by calling 610-797-4107, ext. 2508. Tickets will also be available at the door.
Salisbury Township is hosting a bus trip to Lancaster County's Sight & Sound Theatre. The production, "Moses" will be featured. The bus will depart from Eastern Salisbury Fire Company 10 a.m. June 17 and will return the same day 5 p.m. The ticket price includes the show, transportation and lunch at Shady Maple Smorgasbord. Free time will be provided for shopping. Seating is located in section 101 of the theater.
A signed waiver and payment in full will be required to board the bus. The non-refundable cost for the trip is payable by cash, check or money order. Register at the Salisbury Township Municipal Building, 2900 S. Pike Ave., Allentown. Registration deadline is May 9. Space is limited. The Eastern Salisbury Fire Department requires attendees to park in the lot to the far right of the building. For a free day of community fun, venture out to "Salisbury Township's second annual Earth Fair Celebration." The event is planned 10 a.m. to noon April 26 at Lindberg Park. Local sponsors will share in providing exciting, educational activities for children. Sponsors and presentations include Lehigh Valley Master Gardeners - "Composting," Lehigh Valley Audubon Society "A Bird Town Community," Lehigh Valley Health Network -"Creating a Sustainable Culture" and Waste Management – "Recycling and Hazardous Waste."
The Salisbury Township Environmental Advisory Council is hosting this event. The Earth Fair Celebration will be held rain or shine.
The Salisbury Township Planning Commission scheduled two public workshop meetings 6 p.m. Feb 25 and 6 p.m. Feb 26.
Both will be held at the Salisbury Township Municipal Building, 2900 South Pike Avenue in Allentown.
The Zoning Hearing Board Meeting will not meet March 4 for there were no zoning appeals presented to the board.

Salisbury Middle School's Interact Club is sponsoring their third annual Dance-a-thon to support the Prager Cancer patient fund at Lehigh Valley Health Network and the local organization "Dream Come True." The Dance-a-thon runs 12 hours and will begin 7 p.m. Feb. 28 through 7 a.m. March 1.
The Prager Cancer Patient Fund assists oncology and hematology patients of LVHN. They provide transportation for appointments and helps with other non-medical services. "Dream Come True" enables chronically or terminally ill children to make their dreams a reality. This organization is based out of the Lehigh Valley and serves children between the ages of four and 17 years old.
The event will be held in SMS's cafeteria/gym. Students attending SMS between the ages of 11 and 14 are eligible to participate and are required to raise at least $30 in pledges. Many prizes will be given for "best costumes" and to those with the highest pledge totals. All students participating receive a free T-shirt if registered by March 1. Multiple local business and individuals are sponsoring the Dance-a-thon. The student with the highest pledge amount will receive an iPad mini.

Local teens will be in the spotlight at Salisbury High School's talent show held March 27. Signups and auditions will be held in early in the month. Proceeds will benefit the class of 2016.
SHS's graduation eay has been changed to 6 p.m. June 11 at Allentown Symphony Hall.
Salisbury High School will hold ImPACT testing for spring sport athletes. Sports included in the baseline testing: softball, baseball, boy's tennis, track and field and middle school soccer. Those qualifying for an imPAST test are new athletes to Salisbury sports, any middle school athletes who haven't taken the ImPACT test within the last year and high school sports athletes who haven't taken a new baseline test within the last two years. The testing will be conducted 3 p.m. Feb 26. Impact testing will be held at SHS's computer lab room 005 and lasts approximately 30 minutes. Please be prompt and enter the school at the teacher lot side entrance door, number 15. After the test begins, admittance will not be permitted. If your child is unable to attend or if you are unsure if they need a new baseline, contact Brynn Mahoney at bmahoney2@stsd.org.
