The wedding gown was chosen. The guests were arriving.

It was the wedding day for Northwestern Lehigh High School graduate Dana Stellar and Patrick Holmes on TLC's television show "Say Yes to the Dress."

Dana, the daughter of Anthony Stellar and the late Deborah Stellar, and Patrick, son of Kris and Tim Holmes of Dunmore, met in 2005 when Dana was on a recruiting trip for track and field and cross country at Lehigh University.

The couple became engaged Sept. 13, 2012.

The "Say Yes to the Dress," program titled "New Dress-New Beginning" which will be broadcasted on national television, features Dana returning for the first fitting of her gown before her wedding and the reception at her dad's Heidelberg Township home.

The TLC show also features comedian Seth Meyers surprising a delighted fan, Shealynn, an injured Army veteran and Southern model Ashley looking for a sexy dress that will impress her picky father.

Dana emailed The Press about the upcoming show and about married life.

"We are very excited for the upcoming show," Dana said. "I am really looking forward to seeing Patrick on the big screen.

"He didn't get to be a part of the dress selection, but I hope he gets some air time at the ceremony and reception."

Dana said the entire process of selecting her wedding dress was fun.

"I had a lot of my family and friends along for the ride, so I was very lucky to have their support," she said. "It's pretty amazing to have it all documented on TV."

"Patrick and I are so happy being married," she added.

TLC will broadcast the show as its season premiere 9 p.m. and 11 p.m. Feb. 21, Dana said.
