Kenneth C. Moyer, 78, of Emmaus, died Feb. 14, 2014, in his residence. He was the husband of Barbara A. (Danner) Moyer, with whom he celebrated 58 years of marriage. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Charles F. and Eva (Leh) Moyer.

He was a 1953 graduate of Allentown High School, 1959 graduate of Millersville State and a 1961 graduate of Lehigh University, earning a Master of Education degree.

He was an educator and principal at Harrison-Morton Junior High School, retiring in 1993.

He honorably served his country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was a former member of the Emmaus Lion's Club and enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife; sons, Wayne and his wife Louise, of Emmaus and David and his wife, Isabel, of Emmaus; daughter-in-law, Debra A., of Barto; brother, Gerald T., of Bechtelsville; grandchildren, Kristin, Jonathan, Gabriell, Drew, Nicole and Eric; three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Glenn C.

A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22, First Presbyterian Church Chapel, 3231 Tilghman St., Allentown. Visitation 1 to 1:30 p.m. Feb. 22 in the church. The Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., is handling arrangements.
