Althea Benfield Erb, 93, of Emmaus, died Feb. 13, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She was the wife of the late Marcus Elmer Erb. Born in Lower Milford Township, she was the daughter of the late Henry J. and Mary Ann (Benfield) Fox.

She was a member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus.

She is survived by sons, Francis R. and Gerald L., of Emmaus; daughters, Diana C. and companion, David P. Diehl, of Allentown and Mary E. and her husband Vincent Fraccica, of Riegelsville; grandsons, Daniel and Anthony Fraccica. She was predeceased by sons, Marcus H. and Kenneth L.; brother, Franklin H. Fox; sisters, Luella Gogel, Minnie Mae Fox, and Ruth Mary Fox; companion, Ray Shankweiler.

Funeral services 11 a.m. Feb. 21, in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. Viewing 10 to 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.
