William C. Hodge, 90, of Orefield, died Feb. 3, 2014, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Clara H. (Good) Hodge.

Born Oct. 24, 1923, in Whitehall, he was the son of the late Patrick and Mary (Kostick) Hodge.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

A welder at Mack Trucks Inc., Allentown, for 15 years before retiring, he previously worked for the former Howard Kraft Trucking, Allentown, for several years.

He was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church, Allentown.

His survivors include a brother, Patrick J. Sr. of Allentown; nephews Patrick J. Jr. and his wife, Cathy, Thomas E. and his wife, Marjorie, Michael W. and his wife, Loni, all of Allentown; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and several great-great-nieces and nephews.
