drunkenness
Blaine Haney, no age given, of Pennsburg, was charged with public drunkenness after he allegedly walked through driveways and yards, knocked on a door and leaned on a vehicle parked at a residence creating a disturbance in the 5000 block of Wheatland Drive, Upper Milford Township, 1:55 a.m. Feb. 2. According to police, Haney was extremely intoxicated and did not know where he was or how he got there.
Retail theft
Tandeyah Sapphire Jackson, of Allentown, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly took $8.31 in merchandise and attempted to leave the Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, without paying for the items Feb. 3. Jackson was taken into custody on an existing bench warrant for retail theft and a separate warrant for prostitution and related offenses. A female juvenile who was with Jackson also was charged with retail theft after she allegedly concealed $55.49 worth of merchandise in her purse and attempted to leave the store without paying for the items. The juvenile was released to her mother.
Harrassment
Jill Stauffer, 47, of Emmaus, and Thomas Steifel, 46, of Emmaus, were charged with harassment after an argument escalated into a scuffle in the 4000 block of South Second St., Emmaus, 7:52 p.m. Jan. 23. Stauffer and Steifel allegedly shoved each other. Charges were filed in District Court 31-2-03.
