Milton Pletchan, 86, of Allentown and formerly of Whitehall-Egypt, died Feb. 3, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Samuel Pletchan and Catherine (Kochenash) Pletchan.
He was the husband of Rita (Stinner) Pletchan.
He was a 1945 graduate of Whitehall High School.
He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a buffer and polisher for General Electric/Black and Decker for 32 years before retiring in 1982.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northampton, where he was an usher.
He was a former committee man for Boy Scout Troop No. 59, Whitehall.
He was a lifetime member and former member of the board of directors, Egypt Memorial Park.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Robert and his wife Marie of New Providence, N.J.; a daughter, Christina L. Ormiston of Coplay; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two brothers; and sister.
