Harry B. Ramsey, 87, of Catasauqua, died Feb. 5, 2014, at his residence. He was the husband of the late Pauline (Snyder) Ramsey.
He was a son of the late Harry Clinton and Hulda (Bohlin) Ramsey.
He earned a journalism degree from Lehigh University.
He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He was an assistant executive director of Lehigh University's Alumni Association, retiring in 1988, after working for 28 years, but remaining as a consultant.
Before that, he was an owner/operator of the Catasauqua Dispatch for several years.
He started his career in journalism in Rochester, N.Y.
He is survived by two sons, Christopher Bohlin of Whitehall and Mark Bohlin of Catasauqua; two daughters, Carol Sue of Whitehall and Leslie Ann and her husband Lawrence S. Stecker of Phillipsburg, N.J.; and four grandchildren, Matthew B. and Nathan B. Ramsey and Leanna R. and Logan L. Stecker.
There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m., both on Feb. 14 at Christ Evangelical Congregational Church, 2135 W. Tilghman St., Allentown.
