Police arrested a man and woman on drunken driving charges following an accident around 2:30 a.m. Feb. 9.

Police said the unidentified woman was driving while intoxicated and crashed on West Goepp Street. The man, who was the passenger up to this point, got into the driver's seat and attempted to dislodge the car from a snow bank.

He didn't make it.

Jonathan Piskel, 23, of Lucas Drive, is charged with disordely conduct, public drunkenness and DUI. The woman is also charged with DUI.
