An elderly resident in the 800 block of Jennings Street reported she was burgled around 10 a.m. Feb. 5.

According to police, the victim discovered an unknown man in her home, who told her he wanted to shovel her walkways. When he realized she was alone, he demanded money.

Police said the man searched the home and stole an undisclosed amount of money.
