Anthony T. "Tony" DelBorrello, Jr., 72, of Allentown, died Feb. 3, 2014, Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and wife Arlene M. (Daniel) DelBorrello celebrated their 49th wedding anniversary July 11, 2013.

Born April 14, 1941, in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Anthony T. Sr. and Anna (Raymond) DelBorrello.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during a peacetime era.

A member of I.B.E.W. Local Union 375, he was employed in the maintenance department at the former Agere Systems, Allentown, for 35 years before retiring in 2001.

He greatly enjoyed watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies, spending time with his grandchildren at their activities and vacations at the beach.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by children Michele A. vanEssen and her husband, Berend, of Allentown, Michael G. and his wife, April, of Tamaqua; and grandchildren Matthew, Mitchell and Alyssa.
