Timothy Bird Sr., 57, of North Catasauqua, died Jan. 31, 2014, at home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Edith (Fritz) Bird and the late Gordon Sr. Bird.

He was employed by SMS, Nazareth, and previously worked for Conrail.

He is survived by a son, Timothy R. Jr. and his wife Jamie of North Catasauqua; a daughter, Margaret Fister of Whitehall; a grandson, Brian; three granddaughters, Ashley, Selena and Makayla; a brother, Scott of Walnutport; and two sisters, Mary Zehner of Walnutport and Tammy of Emmaus.

He was predeceased by a brother, Gordon Jr.

There will be a calling hour from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a service at 6 p.m. both Feb. 7 at the funeral home.
