The Whitehall swimming teams split with Freedom in a recent meet. Three records were set in this contest as well.
The girls were 89-80 winners over the Pates despite the fact Freedom's Helen Hsu stole the show a bit by setting two pool records at Whitehall.
The girls won two of the three relay events and had just three individual winners. Alexus Merkert won the 200 IM with a time of 2:20.83 and Mairead Doyle took the 50 free in 26.17. Mina Feyrer captured the 500 free in 5:56.20.
Meanwhile, Hsu won two individual events and set pool records on both. She won the 100 butterfly in 57.45 and also the 100 back in 57.71.
The Zeph 200 medley relay team, made up of Feyrer, Jess Marsellus, Merkert and Grace Sullivan won in 1:55.58. The 200 free team of Alexandra Dorner, Kailyn Beil, Doyle and Merkert won with a time of 1:49.61.
On the boys side, Jonathan Boyd set a school record in the 100 breast with a winning time of 1:05.91. It was one of just two individual wins for the Zephs who fell to the Patriots 107-59.
