Police seek information

Upper Macungie Township police are asking for the public's help to identify a man who attempted to rob the Wells Fargo bank, 7614 Tilghman St., Fogelsville, at 2:04 p.m. Jan. 31.

The individual is described as a white male between the ages of 30 and 40.

He was wearing a dark-colored, possibly black, beanie-style hat, greenish zip-up jacket with hood, blue button-up dress shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes.

He was last seen driving a silver quad-cab pick-up truck, possibly a late model GMC Sierra Z71.

The man produced a note demanding money, then left the bank without taking any.

Police are investigating the link between this attempted bank robbery and the Nov. 19, 2013, bank robbery at Bank of America and the First Niagara Bank robbery on Dec. 4, 2013, both in Fogelsville.
