Mildred L. Sevane Sheckler, 86, of Orefield, died Jan. 28, 2014, in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.

She was the wife of Charles L. Sheckler and the late Antonio B. Sevane.

Born Jan. 7, 1928, in North Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Lillie E. (Danner) Peters.

A sewing machine operator at the former Cross Country Clothes, Egypt, for 10 years, she retired in 1990.

She is survived by her husband, Charles.
