Allen J. Solt, 79, of Wescosville, died Jan. 31, 2014, in Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown.

He and his wife Marjorie E. Solt were married 62 years on Jan. 25.

Born in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Harvey and Grace (Beil) Solt.

He was a body shop foreman for Lehigh Valley Volkswagen from 1986-96.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Barbara A., wife of Keith Dierolf, of East Stroudsburg; son Gerald A. at home, sisters Claire, wife of William Marstellar, of Allentown and Elaine Clausser of Trexlertown; granddaughters Jacqueline D., wife of Mark Walsh, of Temecula, Calif. and Cassandra Dierolf of Santa Monica, Calif.; grandsons John P. Munson of Selden, N.Y. and James M. Munson of Green Lawn, N.Y.; great-grandson Connor; great-granddaughter Camryn, and sisters-in-law Rosalie and Leona Solt.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane L. Solt, and brothers Carl and Earl.

His services are 11 a.m. Feb. 6, at Keller Funeral Homes, Inc., 1018 Church St., Fogelsville. Visitation is 10-11 a.m. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
