Allen J. Solt, 79, of Wescosville, died Jan. 31, 2014, at Mosser Nursing Home, Trexlertown. He was the husband of Marjorie E. Solt for 62 years. Born in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Harvey and Grace (Beil) Solt.

He was a body shop foreman for Lehigh Valley Volkswagen from 1986 to 1996.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Barbara A., and her husband Keith Dierolf, of East Stroudsburg; son, Gerald A. at home; sisters, Claire and her husband William Marstellar, of Allentown and Elaine Clausser, of Trexlertown; granddaughters, Jacqueline D. and her husband Mark Walsh, of Temecula, Calif., and Cassandra Dierolf, of Santa Monica, Calif.; grandsons, John P. Munson, of Selden, N.Y. and James M. Munson, of Green Law, N.Y.; great-grandson, Connor; great-granddaughter, Camryn. He was predeceased by a daughter, Diane L.
