William J. Mauser, 93, of North-ampton, died Jan.24, 2014, at Le-high Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg Campus, Bethlehem. He was the husband of the late Lillian (Tindula) Mauser.
Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late James Mauser and the late Pearl (Ott) Mauser.
He was a PFC in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He was a custodian for the Lehigh Valley Mall, Whitehall, for 17 years before retiring in 1995. Before that, he worked for the former Horlacher Brewery, Allentown, until its closing.
He was a life member and a past president of the Lappawinzo Fish and Game Association, Northampton, and a life member of the Northampton Fire Company.
He is survived by a son, Richard and his wife Helen of St. Cloud, Fla.; a daughter, Carol A. of Northampton; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a grandson.
