Criminal mischief
Reported at a residence in the 2300 block of Silvano Drive, Lower Macungie Township, three eggs were thrown at an exterior window 2 a.m. Dec. 29, 2013. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported in the 2300 block of Aberdeen Way, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors placed and ignited a paper bag containing feces on a front porch 7:25 p.m. Dec. 28, 2013. Members of the state police and Lower Macungie fire department responded to the home and the fire department put out the fire. The investigation continues. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Reported in the 6400 block of Carmel Drive, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors threw eggs at a residence 10:13 p.m. Jan. 11. The actors fled the area in an unknown direction.
Reported at Clearview Manor, 853 Cold Spring Road, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors damaged a handle of a rear door of a storage basement between midnight Dec. 1, 2013 and 4 p.m. Dec. 27, 2013. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Harassment
Marta Brodowski, 38, of Macungie, was cited for harassment after she allegedly struck an unnamed 17-year-old girl during an argument in the 3800 block of Fire Brick Road, 9:30 p.m. Jan. 12. A non-traffic citation for harassment was filed in District Court 31-2-03.
False identification to law enforcement
Francisco Ihelefeld, 34, of the 300 block of North 16th Street, Allentown, was charged with providing false identification to police and driving while suspended after police stopped Ihelefeld for allegedly driving with no insurance 2:07 p.m. Dec. 31, 2013. Investigation by police revealed Ihelefeld's driver's license allegedly was suspended, he lied about his identity and he had outstanding arrest warrants issued by Pennsylvania State Police in Bethlehem and Allentown City police.
DUI
Ayaz Ahmed, 21, of Macungie, was arrested for driving under the influence after he was stopped for an alleged summary traffic violation on Brookside Road, north of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:26 a.m. Jan. 17. Joseph Robert Ogden Davis, 20, of Emmaus, a passenger in the vehicle, allegedly was in possession of drug paraphernalia at the time.
Clayton David Bertsch, 51, of Allentown, was placed under arrest for driving under the influence after police responded to East Texas Road at Lamplighter Drive, Lower Macungie Township, for a disabled vehicle blocking traffic 8:54 p.m. Jan. 17. Bertsch allegedly showed signs of impairment at the scene. Charges are expected to be filed in District Court 31-3-02.
Moses Miller, 19, of Allentown, was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped for alleged traffic violations while westbound on Interstate 78, mile marker 56.7, Salisbury Township, 11:04 p.m. Jan. 20. Miller allegedly exhibited signs of impairment at the time of his arrest.
Craig Stephen Dorazio, 54, of Broomall, was taken into custody for suspicion of driving under the influence after he was stopped for an alleged traffic violation on Interstate 78 at Summit Lawn, Salisbury Township, 8:38 p.m. June 24. Dorazio allegedly showed signs of impairment at the scene. Charges to be filed in District Court 31-1-08 pending results of blood testing.
Access device fraud
Reported by a 42-year-old woman, of Allentown, unknown actors made several unauthorized online transactions using her credit card Jan. 13. The unknown actors made five separate transactions totaling $69.01 at several websites including MINECRAFT.net and satvps.com. The transactions were traced to Australia and Sweden. The investigation is continuing.
Terroristic threats
A 32-year-old Macungie woman, no name given, was arrested and charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after she threatened with a knife a woman, 36, of Macungie, during an argument at a residence in the 2800 block of Springhaven Place, Lower Macungie Township, 10:16 p.m. Jan. 18. Charges were filed in District Court 31-2-03.
Theft from motor vehicle
Reported at a residence in the 1100 block of Eagle Street, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors entered an unlocked vehicle parked in front of the home and took $5 in change and a bottle of prescription medication valued at $40 between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. Jan. 17. The investigation continues.
Reported in the 5600 block of Greens Drive, Lower Macungie Township, items were taken from an unlocked vehicle between 9:30 p.m. Jan. 8 amd 7:30 p.m. Jan. 9. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Retail theft
Amy Yahne Rockelman, 23, of Allentown, was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly took three prepaid cell phones from a shelf in the electronics department at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 10:53 and 10:58 p.m. Jan. 22. Rockelman allegedly took the phones from their packaging, placed the phones in her coat and left the store without paying for the merchandise. Rockelman allegedly was taken to Lehigh County Prison for processing.
