Muriel B. Kunkle, 90, of Pennsbury and formerly of Bethlehem, died Jan. 26, 2014, at Pennsbury Manor, Pennsbury. She was the wife of the late Jean "Jack" L. Kunkle.

Born in Orefield, she was a daughter of the late Sidney and Sadie (Deshler) Achey.

She was a seamstress for many years, employed by Jomar Manufacturing, Allentown, until she retired.

She was a member of Morganland Union Church, Orefield.

She is survived by two sons, James L. and his wife Marjorie of Rehoboth Beach, Del. and Ronald D. of Hereford; a granddaughter, Gwen M. (Kunkle) Holtgrewe; and a great-granddaughter, Amanda L. Holtgrewe.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Max and Noble Achey.

There will be a calling hour from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a service at 11 a.m., both on Jan. 30, at the funeral home, 2119 Washington Ave., Northampton, 18067.
