Irene E. Heintzelman, 85, of Kempton, died Jan.26, 2014, in Kutztown Manor.

She was predeceased by her husband Harold L. Heintzelman Sr. in 1975.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Edith ( Merkel) Stopp.

She was a hostess for the former Peter Pan Diner and Kuhns Motels, Kuhnsville, Upper Macungie, in the 1970s.

She was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville.

She is survived by daughters, Cynthia A., wife of Attorney David C. Najarian of Kempton, with whom she resided, Donna L., wife of Chester Heller, of Sciota; sons Harold L. Jr. and his wife, Darlene, of Claussville, David H. of Kempton; brother Harry Stopp of Allentown; grandchildren Denise Brader, Gregory Heintzelman, Angela Reppert, Jessica and Melissa Najarian; and six great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 31, in Ziegels Union Church, 9990 Ziegels Church Road, Breinigsville. Calling hour begins at 10 a.m.

The Rev. Bruce D. MacLaughlin will officiate. Interment in the adjoining cemetery.
