Barbara E. Brader, 66, of Danielsville, died Jan. 22, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. Born in Bethlehem, she was a daughter of Richard Melcher and the late Doris (Gross) Melcher. She was the wife of Richard W. Brader for 49 years.

In addition to her husband and father, she is survived by two daughters, Wendy L. Young and Alan S. Miller of Catasauqua and Theresa A. Simon of Richmond, Va.; a sister, Kathy Hammel; and three grandchildren, Jessica, Leighann and Aaron.
