Alice J. Kerin, 59, of Allentown, died Jan. 22, 2014, at home.

She and her husband Paul L. Kerin celebrated their 31st wedding anniversary last November.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Harry C. and Geraldine B. (Gilmore) Derhammer.

A secretary at Bell Labs/Western Electric for 25 years, she retired in 1999.

She was a member of the Travelers Protective Association.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son Jonathan M. and a daughter Kimberly J. and her fiancé, Barry Pickin, all of Allentown; brother Richard of Coplay; and sister Linda Derhammer of Whitehall.
