Paul F. Carr

Paul F. Carr, 94, of Lower Macungie Township, died Jan. 24, 2014, in his home. He was the husband of the late A. Connie Carr. Born in Lowell, Mass., he was a son of the late Robert and Anne (Vassar) Carr.

He served in the Army during World War II as a pathfinder, and was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown.

He is survived by daughters, Sister Kathleen Carr, CSI, AnneMarie and her husband Robert Reardon, Sister Ellen Carr, OSF, Virginia Voros, Mary Elizabeth and her husband Ray Lawyer, and Paula and her husband Daniel Barr; brother-in-law, Rev. Father George J. Kirwin, OMI; sister-in-law, Rita Kirwin; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert; brothers-in-law, Gerald and Kenneth Kirwin.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 29, 2013, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Ave., Allentown. A viewing will be 10 a.m. to 10:50 a.m. in the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
