Eleanor L. Knauss, 74, of Emmaus, died Jan. 25, 2014, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of the late Lee H. Knauss who died Dec. 14, 2009. Born in Vera Cruz, she was the daughter of the late William M.E. and Sadie S. (Sell) Yeakel.

She was a member of Old Zionsville United Church of Christ.

She worked as a greenhouse grower, retiring from Valley Farm Market in 2012 and previously worked for Dan Schantz Greenhouse.

She is survived by children, David S., Audrey A. and her husband Michael Goff; brother, William Yeakel; sister, Miriam Fisher; grandchildren, Jason and Joshua, and Gannon and Haylea Goff. She was predeceased by sons, Rodney in 1996 and Richard in 2013.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 31 in the Bachman, Kulik and Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A visitation will be 10 to 11 a.m. Jan. 31 in the funeral home.
