Helen S. Kratzer, 91 of Slatington, died Jan. 13, 2014, in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late William B. Kratzer.

Born Nov. 15, 1922, in Washington Township, she was the daughter of the late Francis T. and Lillie J. (Metzger) Kern.

She was a production worker at the former Golden Sun Potato Chip Factory, Slatington, for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Friedens United Church of Church, Slatington.

Her survivors include nephews, Charles F. Fink and his wife, Sue, of Germansville, Robert W. Fink and his wife, Cindy, of New Tripoli; great-nieces Amy, Lori, Stephanie and Allison; and five great-great-nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by sons, James F. and William J.; and siblings Reuben Kern and Arlene Fink.
