Seniors Janelle Roth and Lester Estrada were honored, along with the other Lehigh Valley schools girls and boys nominees, at the Lehigh Valley Soccer Scholar Athlete Banquet at the Northampton Community Center on Sunday evening, Jan. 12.

Roth is ranked fourth in her class of 120. She was a two-yearletter winner in girls soccer. Janelle also participates in girls volleyball, marching band, drama club, concert band, chorus, the National Honor Society, student council, Students Against Destructive Decisions, peer mentoring and a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Roth plans on attending a four-year college with an undecided major.

Estrada is ranked 34th in his class of 120. He was a three-year letter winner in boys soccer, serving as a captain during his senior year.

Estrada was named Colonial League Honorable Mention as a senior. He also played youth soccer for the Catasauqua Youth Soccer Association. He is currently employed at Chuck E. Cheese's.

Estrada plans on attending a four-year college to major in mathematics.
