There will be a ServSafe certification course, conducted by Penn State Extension, on Jan. 23. The proctored, multiple-choice exam will be held on Jan. 30. Both the class and exam are being given at the Penn State Extension – Lehigh County, Room 104, Lehigh County Agricultural Center, 4184 Dorney Park Road, Allentown. There is a fee.
The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) requires that every retail food service operation have at least one employee who holds a nationally recognized food safety manager certification such as ServSafe.
