Lehigh Co.: Local watershed stewards sought

State Sen. Lisa Boscola, D-18, announced Jan. 3 that a new program in Lehigh and Northampton counties, The Penn State Master Watershed Steward program, will be training volunteers as a master watershed steward.

Volunteers who enroll must complete a minimum of 40 hours of training and fulfill 50 hours of volunteer service to earn their master watershed steward status.

The training program will begin the week of March 12 and continue on subsequent Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. through mid June.
