At the Jan. 6 reorganization meeting at Washington Township, Josh Friebolin was renamed to the position of supervisors' chair.

Roy Dengler was named vice chairman.

JoAnn Ahner will continue as secretary-treasurer at a pay rate of $21.08 an hour and $150 for attendance at a township meeting.

The Earned Income Tax Officer and Assistant Secretary-Treasurer is Sally Mantz at a rate of $18.19 per hour. Both are 1 percent raises.

The treasurer's and earned income tax collector bonds were each set at $300,000.

Zoning, code enforcement and planning officer Justin Yaich will receive $21.46 per hour, $50 for supervisors meetings and $100 for zoning hearings.

Roadmaster Tom Dengler's salary is set at $23.69 per hour with both of the above receiving a 1 percent raise.

John Ashley will continue as solicitor and Keystone Consulting Engineers will serve as engineers.

George Beam was named to the vacancy board.

Supervisors' meetings will be 7:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month.

The zoning hearing board will meet the third Tuesday as needed each month at 7:30 p.m.

Supervisor Gerald Phillips was named a laborer on the road crew, with the auditors to set his wages.

David Wotring, Richard Kunkle and Sherwood Hoffman were reappointed to the road crew at a pay rate of $19.25 per hour, a 1-percent raise.

Part-time workers will receive $15 per hour.

Zoning board members will receive $40 per hearing with not more than two in one night.

Mike Hammond was named to the zoning hearing board.

Use of a private vehicle for township business will be reimbursed at 55 cents per mile.

George Kern was named emergency management coordinator.

On the road improvement list are 1.8 miles of road on Venture Court, Franklin and Center streets, Viewpoint and Vantage courts, Vista, Woodland and Mountainview drives.

Shawn Mantz and Tim O'Brien were appointed to the property maintenance appeals board.

This was questioned by Mildred Kistler.

Supervisors said there has been no appeal of an enforcement notification in the three years since there was a property maintenance ordinance.
