Police arrested a man for shouting and acting violently while in a taxi cab on West Union Boulevard around 3:20 a.m. Jan. 4.

Police said Matthew Stambaugh, 30, of Hawthorne Circle in Allentown, yelled profanities at the driver and kicked the door.

Stambaugh is charged with public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.
