Betty J. Miller, 79, formerly of Lynnport, died Jan. 7, 2014, in Allentown.

She and her husband Carl B. Miller Sr. celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary on Jan. 2.

Born in Andreas, she was a daughter of the late Milton X. and LaVerne E. (Gilbert) Frantz Sr.

Formerly a school bus driver for the Northwestern Lehigh School District, she later was a ticket taker for the Pa. Turnpike Commission.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters, Linda M. Miller of Orefield, Sandra E., wife of Ray E. Kline, of Bally, and Cindy M., wife of Scott Erney of New Ringgold; son Carl B. Jr. and his wife, Jenny, of New Tripoli; brother Milton X. Jr. and his wife Edna, of Berlin, N.J.; 16 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by sons Terry and Charles "Chip" Miller.
