Curtis "Chip" C. Binder, Jr., 62, of Emmaus, died Jan. 2, 2014, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Arlene L. (Yecker) Binder and the late Curtis C. Binder, Sr.

He was a graduate of Emmaus High School, class of 1970.

He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Emmaus, and a member of Saucon Lodge #469 F&AM.

He is survived by his mother; daughter, Melanie; brothers, David and Eugene. He was predeceased by a sister, Diane Romig.
