The following are area soccer scholar athlete nominees for this Sunday night's banquet, which will take place at the Northampton Community Center.

Janelle R. Roth

Catasauqua

Roth is a defender for the Rough Riders. She ranks fourth in a class of 120, and has a 98.45 grade out of 100.

She has played for Catasauqua Youth Soccer Association for six years, while also playing soccer at the high school level every season. She has played volleyball for her first three seasons too. Her extra-curricular activities are: drama club, marching band, concert band, chorus, National Honor Society, student council, Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

She plans to attend a four-year college. She remains undecided on her major.

Lester M. Estrada

Catasauqua

Estrada is a center midfielder on the soccer team. He ranks 34th in a class of 120, and he has a grade of 90.35 out of 100.

He was elected as an honorable mention on the Colonial League All-League Team, and played soccer for Catasauqua Youth Soccer Association for four years.

He plans to major in Mathematics in college.

Samantha M.

Feenstra

Lehigh Valley

Christian

Feenstra is a defender with two career goals and five career assists. In a class of 32, she ranks ninth with a 3.9 GPA out of 4.0

She is the secretary of National Honor Society, a chairman for the Jr./Sr. Banquet Committee and went to Brazil on a mission trip. She also plays basketball, and was named the Most Improved Player in soccer during her junior season.

She plans to attend a four-year college and is undecided on her major.

Seth D. Lunger

Lehigh Valley

Christian

Seth is a center back on the soccer team and has a 3.0 GPA. He was named to the All-Conference Second-Team last season.

He also plays baseball and basketball, and is a member of NJHS and NHS. He plans to major in business administration after high school.
