To the Editor:

We are pleased to say more than 50 high school families were touched with holiday kindness due to gift card donations worth $2,175.

A simple email sent out by two parents in the district for the third year in a row, requesting gift card donations for families in need, has again proven that this community knows how to support its neighbors, especially with the spirit of holiday blessings.

These 50-plus families were given a small but needed gift to help share in the joyful season.

As the families came in to claim their gifts in the Northwestern Lehigh High School Guidance Office, they often left with an appreciative smile and explained the donations will greatly help their families.

On behalf of these families, thank you Northwestern community for supporting and spreading good cheer to your neighbors.
