Edward H. Remaly Sr., 90, of Coplay, died Dec. 26, 2013, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was the husband of Christine D. (Malanitch) Remaly for 36 years.

Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of the late Arthur and Catherine Remaly.

A World War II Marine veteran, he was the recipient of two Purple Hearts.

He was a crane operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation.

He was a member of the Cathedral of St. Catherine of Siena, Allentown.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Edward Jr. of Coplay; two daughters, Diane and her husband Charles Muffley of Bath and Linda and her husband Charles Heffentrayer of Northampton; six grandchildren; two brothers, Robert of Allentown and James of Bethlehem; and three sisters, Janet Baker of Virginia, Elizabeth Stevens of Hershey, and Dorothea Salter of Allentown.
