Police arrested Manuel Martinez, 58, of the 700 block of Broadway, for allegedly attacking a neighbor around 3:30 p.m. Dec. 28.

According to police, Martinez for unspecified reasons choked the woman and threw her down a staircase. The victim's condition was not reported.

Martinez is charged with threats, harassment, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and simple assault.
