Police arrested a First Avenue man for two seperate incidents Dec. 30.
Around 1:30 a.m. police cited Torpe Miller, 30, on a charge of harassment for making a threatening telephone call to a former co-worker.
Later that day, around 4:30 p.m., officers responded to a call at Miller's home. He had allegedly struck his girlfriend on the face and head, causing her injuries.
Miller is charged with simple assault.
