The film, "Let the Fire Burn," will be presented by the SouthSide Film Institute as part of the "Ice House Tonight" series, 8 p.m. Jan. 11, Charles A. Brown Ice House, Sand Island, 56 River St., Bethlehem.
In "Let the Fire Burn," director Jason Osder documents the May 13, 1985, climax of a longtime political dispute between the City of Philadelphia and controversial radical urban group Move.
First-time filmmaker Osder, using only archival news coverage and interviews, is said to bring to life one of the most tumultuous and largely forgotten clashes between government and citizens in modern United States history.
