South Whitehall Township police were dispatched just after 9 p.m. Dec. 20, 2013, for a report of four juvenile males, who had entered an abandoned property and were heard breaking items at 3747 Dorney Park Road.

Police say upon arrival the first officer heard items being broken, a conversation between the juveniles and saw the glow of a fire from inside the structure.

Additional officers responded to assist in placing the teens into custody and South Whitehall Fire units responded to extinguish the fire.

The investigation of the incident is being conducted by South Whitehall Township Police and Fire Marshal.

Charges of arson, criminal trespass and criminal mischief will be filed by police.
