Irvin S. "Buddy" Swoyer, 95, of Topton, died Dec. 23, 2013, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife Glenna A. (Beitler) Swoyer were married 70 years this past November.

Born in Topton, he was a son of the late Solon and Irma (Derr) Swoyer.

He worked for Sears in the service and maintenance department for 37 years.

He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Topton.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons, Larry K. and wife Janet of Fleetwood; Leon I. of Breinigsville; daughter Ardella L. wife of Charles Fegley of Zionsville; brother Lowell of Topton; sisters Mae Behn, Ruth Kistler and Meryl Anderson, all of Topton; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
