Walter H. Aungst III, 58, of Salisbury Township, died Dec. 28, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of Marilyn (Beisel) for 34 years. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of Betty (Bateman) and the late Walter H. Aungst Jr.
He worked for Martin's Famous Pastry for 30 years.
He was involved in the Salisbury Youth Association for many years and was the vice-chair of the recreation advisory committee for Salisbury Township.
He loved baseball, basketball and vacations at Long Beach Island, N.J.
He is survived by his wife; children, Nicholas, of Allentown, Alan and his wife Crystal, of Raubsville, LeeJay and his wife Lyndsay, of Salisbury Township; grandchildren, Nicholas, Paige, Tiffany, Landon, Jordyn; mother, of Salisbury Township; siblings, Kathy, of Salisbury Township, Terrence, Kevin, Christopher and his wife Shannon, of Salisbury Township. He was predeceased by his father, brother Michael and godson Sean.

A viewing will be held 6 to 8 p.m. Jan. 2 and 9 to 10 a.m. Jan. 3 with a service 10 a.m., all in the Downing Funeral Home Inc., 1002 W. Broad St., Bethlehem.
