Doris Jane (DeLong) Schmoyer, 83, of Emmaus, died Dec. 27, 2013, in her home. She was the wife of Floyd C. Schmoyer for 63 years. Born in Wescosville, she was the daughter of the late Luke and Myra (Mickley) DeLong.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an accomplished vocalist, pianist and organist. She was an active member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Emmaus, serving on the board of Christian education, music committee, tape ministry, choir, and home visitation.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Myra and her husband Dennis Sell, Lora and her husband David Lesak, and Bonnie and her husband Donald Keck; sister, Dolores and her husband Donald Xander, all residing locally; six grandchildren, Marla Sell, Jonathan Keck, Dr. Erin Keck Donohue, Lyndie Keck, Dr. Jana Lesak Houser, and Scott Lesak; two great-grandchildren.

Contributions may be made to St. John's U.C.C. Memorial Fund.

Funeral services will be noon Jan. 2 in St. John's U.C.C., 139 North 4th St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 10:30 a.m. to noon in the church. Arrangements were made by the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., Emmaus.
