Timothy E. Coval, 53, died Dec. 12, 2013, in Homestead, Fla., while in a diabetic coma.
He was the beloved son of Janice and Gene Coval of Whitehall.
Formerly of Whitehall, he was a 1979 graduate of Whitehall High School, Northampton Community College, with a degree in computer and communication technology, and Kutztown University with a degree in education.
An elementary school teacher for 20 years in Florida, he touched many lives and was loved by all.
A gifted musician, he played guitar for bands in the Lehigh Valley, including "Bam Bam" before moving to Marathon, Fla. in 1993.
He attended San Pablo Catholic Church in Marathon.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother Scott and his wife Kaye of Orefield, and their children Keeley, Mia and Nicholas; sister Amy Wurth and her husband Mark of Boca Raton, Fla., and their children Ella and Sam; fiancée Jamie Buhyoff of Marathon; aunts, uncles, cousins and their families; and many friends;
A celebration of his life will be held locally at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to a diabetic charity of one's choice.
