Robbery and aggravated assault
Reported at the Bieber Bus Terminal, 4440 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, an unknown male actor entered the business, demanded money, displayed a firearm, threatened and struck a Kutztown man who refused to comply with the actor's demands in an incident 11:12 a.m. Dec. 10. The unidentified actor then fled the scene. Witnesses described the man as a black male, 20 to 40 years old, with a thin build who was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and a black or blue scarf at the time of the incident. Burglary
Reported by a resident in the 2600 block of Terrwood Drive West, Lower Macungie Township, unknown actors forced entry through the front door, went through bedrooms at the residence and took an undetermined amount of jewelry between noon and 2 p.m. Dec. 9. The unknown actors then fled out of the rear door. Anyone with information may contact Pennsylvania State Police at 610-395-1438.
Recovered property
Pennsylvania State Police are looking for the owner of a radar detector recovered on Schoeneck Road at the railroad tracks, Lower Macungie Township, 12:45 p.m. Dec. 2. The detector, described as a black Cobra brand unit, was stolen property and was found among other stolen electronic items. The detector has the serial number B124006592. The owner of the detector may contact police at 610-395-1438 and reference incident number M05-1500656.
Disorderly conduct
Troy Abeline Sepp, 35, of Northampton, allegedly entered the Vera Cruz Tavern, 3883 Main Road West, Vera Cruz, yelled profanties and threw a bar stool to the floor, 7:13 p.m. Dec. 6.
Theft
Heith Allen Engleman, 46, of the 200 block of Hottenstein Road, Kutztown, is named a suspect in the theft of three checks taken from the checkbook of a resident of the 1000 block of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11 p.m. Nov. 12 and 11 a.m. Nov. 18. Engleman allegedly wrote out the checks payable to himself, forged the owner's signature and cashed the checks, totaling $290, at various branches of National Penn Bank.
Retail theft
Tabitha Raduj, 26, of Allentown, and Carlos Perez-Gonzalez, 41, of Allentown, were placed under arrest for retail theft after they allegedly removed merchandise valued at $102.59 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:30 a.m. Dec. 10. Raduj and Perez-Gonzalez allegedly fled in a vehicle described by a witness and the vehicle was located by Allentown Police.
Ciara Jones, of Emmaus, was charged with retail theft after she allegedly removed $43.91 in merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 10:39 p.m. Dec. 9. Charges were filed through District Court 31-3-02.
Megan Beth Strain, 18, of Topton and Macy Anna Rogers, 19, of Zionsville, were charged with retail theft after they allegedly took miscellaneous beauty products from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:17 p.m. Dec. 11. Charges were filed at District Court 31-3-02.
