PRESS PHOTO BY KYLE MERTL

Seidersville Road becomes slick Dec. 9 shortly after the snow started causing several one-car accidents. Two of the cars struck telephone poles and one of the poles snapped. Police, fire and EMS units were sent to assist and one person was taken by ambulance to the hospital for minor injuries. Fire police closed Seidersville Road between Emmaus Avenue and Fire Lane for about two hours until all the cars were towed and PennDOT treated the roadway.
