Zachary A. Paules, 23, of Slatington, died Dec. 6, 2013, as a result of a motor vehicle accident in North Whitehall Township.

Born March 30, 1990, in Allentown, he was the son of Dwain and Lori (Wanamaker) Paules.

A 2008 graduate of Northern Lehigh High School, he was employed for several years by Lehigh Valley Health Network and Thompson's Meat Market, Walnutport.

He was a member of the Slatington Skeet Club, Palmerton Rod and Gun Club, Lehigh Valley Stocking Association and the Diamond Fire Company, Walnutport.

An avid bowler who enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowboarding, kayaking and golfing, he had a love for sports and spending summers at the beach.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents Edward and Judy Wanamaker of Emerald; paternal grandparents Willard and Darlene Paules of Slatington; maternal great-grandmother Mildred Wanamaker; paternal great-grandmother Anna Paules; aunt, Lisa Wise; uncle, Dan Wanamaker; cousins Kristi, Brandi, Kyle and Garrett.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Dec. 13, at Slatedale Cemetery.

There will be no calling hours.
